Our R&D Centers of Excellence

 

 

Erba France, located in Montpellier, France is our group R&D Centre. They specialize in development of instrumentation and reagents. They have an exceptional track record of launching systems in Biochemistry, Immunoassay, Coagulation, HPLC and Urinalysis.

 

 

Erba Molecular (UK) located in Cambridgeshire, England specializes in development of novel molecular diagnostic products for clinical and industrial markets. It is located in one of the global hotspots for innovations in biotechnology. Our team here has taken a workflow based approach to developing clinical molecular assays that are simple to use in low resource settings.

Mumbai: Erba India (Transasia) located at Mumbai forms the hub for the development and support activities for instrumentation, immunoassay and clinical chemistry reagents. The team has introduced several path- breaking innovations that have the potential of transforming medical diagnostics in Asia. 

Bengaluru: Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd’s new R&D Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru is focused towards design and development of next generation devices. We strive to build innovative products for end-to-end automation of diagnostic solution delivery. The team here is primarily focused on developing technologies and solutions using image processing, machine vision, robotics, AI and ML to enable this.

Vizag: Transasia’s R&D facility at AMTZ, Vizag, is home to on-going R&D of reagents and developing cost-effective and user-friendly processes for technologies like molecular diagnostics, lateral flow devices including FIA and flash based Chemiluminescence. A dedicated team is deployed to develop raw materials used in the development of immunoassays (Recombinant antigens, Monoclonal and Polyclonal antibodies).

A multidisciplinary team of experts, which includes a scientist, chemist, and other technical subject matter experts, is developing cutting-edge products to make diagnostics more accessible and affordable. The novel and innovative technologies and device solutions are developed to transform disease diagnosis, leading to better medical outcomes and enhanced patient care.

The current product pipeline was developed in collaboration with clinicians, labs, hospitals, and academic institutions and is based on the needs of the country's healthcare system.

 

 

Erba Lachema,located in Brno, Czech Republic specializes in the development of products for Urinalysis and Dry Chemistry. The team here has a rich legacy of introducing successful products that have since become generic names in the industry.

 

 

Calbiotech Inc. USA, located in California is the first company to introduce immunoassay kits in the United States to detect antibodies against Zika virus in human blood. It specializes in development of ELISA & CLIA assays for human and animal research, including specific assays for autoimmune disorders, cancer and infectious diseases.
